Matthew first tried acting at the age of 14 when a friend convinced him to audition for a high school play back in Delafield, Wisconsin. He got the part, and a love affair began. After graduating with a degree in acting from Marquette University, Matthew packed up a car with his father and drove west to LA. His TV and film work includes: “Room Service” with Howie Mandel, “Elevator” with Elizabeth Berkley, the History Channel, and A&E, among others. Currently, Matthew can be seen on HBO's miniseries "Imagine" at hboimagine.com. He recently starred as James Leeds opposite Shoshannah Stern in the 30th Anniversary production of Children of a Lesser God.
